ENOSH distinguishes copyright ownership from publishing rights and defines open access, permissions, translation and machine-use terms explicitly.
Copyright remains with the author/rightsholder by default.
ENOSH receives only the rights described in the agreement.
Exclusive rights include a defined term or objective reversion mechanism.
For OA books, author copyright is retained and public reuse is governed by the selected Creative Commons license.
